A couple of Sinclairs in the list. I would of added the TI 99/4A. I still have mine.

I've worked with the PDP and the Cray 2. My ZX80 is in the basement somewhere with it's original box.

    I would like to add:

One of the first computers I ever made. It's pretty to me.

    Suite.

I am not old enough to truely appreciate any of these machines properly, but I still love looking at them.

When I saw the Ingraham one I knew it had a project log here, took a search to release it was yours slipperyskip.

    Oops! Busted. :D

A friend of mine saw Ingraham's photo on Digg and sent me the link.

Now if I could just get my head through this doorway....

I think we will let you off this time, it is rather a nice PC.

The prototype was quite different. Blow off all the black and red on the horseshoe processor cabinet and leave it all clear plexi. Put the buttons from the left cabinet directly on top of the horseshoe. Take the right cabinet and turn it into a 6 ft tall 4 ft diameter clear plexi cylinder filled with the cooling fluid.

Brutally fast. When the number crunching starts to heat the fluid, just dump in a gallon of stuff that raises the boiling point and eliminates bubbles.

    Twas a fun machine.

They are all very beautiful - and, with the exception of your mod and the apple, all significantly older than me :worried:

I do especially love the design of the ZX Spectrum though...

At the time the design of this one was cool.

I got the C-64 because it had the ability to be programed (and play games)

I hated how my hands would cramp from using that joystick.

I need to ebay all my commodore stuff. I have several c-64s and 64/128s and a bookcase full of games.

    Also,

That 50-year old computer looks more like a 52-year old computer. :p

"But mommy, why does the computer have a steering wheel?"

    :D

Seriously! Is it going somewhere?! :D

    +1.

I mean, it's got a big chrome wheel on it! You can turn it while cackling maniacally, with lights blinking and dials twitching and an ominous hum building in the background!

I ask you, which modern computer allows you to do that, eh? A mouse just isn't dramatic enough.

CERN? Although I wouldn't want to be the one turning wheels there.
