I don't see why this is really being pinned on geeksquad. I mean I know the family are doing things the greedy way people do these days and sueing them, but it clearly wasn't their fault. On a long enough timescale all employers will hire a pervert - that's life, not best buys fault. I hope they lose. I also hope the pervert gets a few years behind bars at least.
unless the guy has a past history of undisciplined unacceptable behavior as a geek squad technician (or he was a known offender before being hired), i really don't see how they can sue geek squad/best buy. of course this is a litigious society, so it is possible, but it still seems like a weak case to me. and i agree, i hope he does a few years...
This follows another Best Buy story about its misuse of their own secret intranet site that has been used to dupe customers. Best Buy's dubious intranet site investigated by Connecticut Attorney General So much for clean hands in this case.
