I assumed you physically had it. Sorry.

Got my eye on the 2133 Dominator kit... you getting same?

God damn. That memory costs more than my processor!

I'd be happy just with a 1600 kit at the moment.

Pook; The highest result from me was recorded with 8GB of RAM, I've got a dud module in the other two, but it doesn't show up on Memtest (Wtf?)

No worries chum and yes indeed buddy, when I switch to watercooling (although I've been saying that for a year) I'll be swapping the ram for some of the Dom GT's if scan ever get the bloody stuff in stock!

Depends. What modules, and how much?

    These.

Only a few weeks old, never abused or overclocked, all original packaging. £60 inc. postage seems reasonable.

If you can use 1.8V DIMMS, I've got 4GB (2x 2GB) of DDR3 1600 here you can have for £15 plus postage. That's not a lot of RAM for a modern system though.

£60 is bang on what I was hoping for, then I had the fun fact that all the stuff I could find was at least £75.

It'd be nice to have a complete working set of modules, at least.

I'mma have to pass on the 4GB kit, though. My Memory controller makes unhappy faces at 1.690, let alone 1.8.

No idea if you're in a rush, but I obviously can't let this stuff go until Scan have the Dom GTs in stock, but as soon as they do you can have first call on these Vengeance LPs. Still exactly as they were when bought. Mint condition, and like I said, run within spec.

I'm happy on 8GB 1333 at the moment. I can't RMA the failed module, though, because i'd have to send back the whole kit.

I bought it right before Scan's website was updated for SB-E, so I got one of the last "Dual Channel" 16GB kits.

Can you run at 1.8V? If so, I can send you these 2x 2GB 1600 DIMMS to tide you over while you RMA. No charge.. just trying to help. You can mail them back to me when you've sorted out your RMA.

I can't run 1.8, sadly. Well, I could in theory, but I'd rather not redline my processor that much on the current cooling setup.

Thanks for the offer, though. +rep!

Hokay. After my PC overheated earlier from playing Call of Duty (Wtf?), I've dropped it down to a "Running" overclock. I'll geekbench it to see what it's like.

8231 at 3.4, so that's about the same as what I'd expect an FX 8150 to get at stock. Not bad considering how badly done Bulldozer is.

That's very kind of you Pookeyhead. Urm can I borrow a GTX 580 for some quad SLI, I will send it back when I'm done?...lol

Anyway; I'm very angry, my delivery has not turned up yet:waah: Looks at the clock 12:40:waah:

Pics of all the parts when they do arrive, as well as your assembled PC.

Must resist urge to see if 5Ghz isn't possible on air...

I know it's futile when I've gotta cram over 1.7V into the processor pull it off, but I can dream!

Maybe towards January, drop the temps in my room till the processor is idling near 0, then try again.

I half expect someone in Dabs' support department to just pick up the phone and hear "FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU- "

It's just occurred to me; the original EKWB ram cooling blocks are annoying now, are they not? You'll need two for SB-E, and they'll be too large, won't they?

EDIT; Okay. If my idle temps drop below 10 degrees; I'm going for 5Ghz. Lets see how cold my room will have to get...
