    I can really see why...the 7900GT is priced not-too-much ahead of the 7800GT and way below the 7800GTX and still manages to beat both of them. You can't go wrong for the same amount of pixel pipelines as a 7800GTX for cheaper. If I had enough money right now, I would go out and buy one of 'em. :D

    To be honest...i don't get this. Everyone made a hoo-ha about ATi and their vapourware cards only several months ago. But they did exist. They just couldn't provide them fast enough...i know it's too another level there, but surely if they are not being shipped quick enough that means there aren't enough of them...simple supply and demand.

    maybe they had no idea they were going to sell so well

    its not feasable to ramp up production 5 fold in 2 days or somthing

    Id love a 7900, mainly for the near silent cooler, if i had the money :sigh:

    looking at the price differences between the 7800gt and 7900gt I think I will get myself a 7900gt :D
