Hello. I've had my 9800GT for about a year now and I have always been annoyed with the noise level coming from the fan after a bit of playing. Therefore, I would like to replace the stock fan. I have been looking at several different solutions. Thermaltake DuOrb: http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Cooler/VGAnCHIPnMEM/CL-G0102/cl-g0102.asp (even though it only says 8800GT, I've heard that the 9800GT is pretty much a renamed 8800GT, so it would fit, but apparently quite noisy) ZALMAN VF1000 LED: http://www.zalman.co.kr/ENG/product/Product_Read.asp?Idx=276 (Apparently quite silent, cheap and easy to install) The Accelero S1 Rev. 2: http://www.arctic-cooling.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=2_&mID=105&language=en (Unfortunately, I have a rather small case, so it would not be able to fit) What I am asking is what would be the best choice for this. My budget for this is around $70/€47/£42. Thanks in advance Regards Forsaken
get this cheap quiet and good cooling http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/AKAS...ith-two-HeatPipe-and-UV-reactive-BLUE-LED-fan
Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any distributers of that specific card that ships to Denmark, where I live.
Can you get Thermalright products? The HR-03GT is a sensational cooler, and you can probably get one for pretty reasonable money atm.
newegg used to carry them, but stopped for some reason, or at least haven't seen any of their products on there for awhile now. good call though. apparently available on different etailers though.
I've done a lot of searching, and can't find a single Thermalright distributor in Denmark, and unfortunately, the godlike newegg doesn't ship to Denmark. A friend recommended Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme 9800 VGA Cooler http://www.arctic-cooling.com/catalog/images/spec_sheet_accelero_xtreme.pdf And I'm going to go with that. Thanks for your replies anyway Greatly appreciated
