Modding GeForce FX 5200

    I just took out my GFX card, and noticed that it has a DVI pattern just behind the VGA connector. Would it be possible/easy to take a DVI connector (from an extender or something) and hooking it up instead of the VGA connection?

    it should work, it may not be bios supported but i dont see i reason to not try

    Most likely won't work, because the board doesn't support it natively. You will probably run into problems with alocations within your firmware and with the actual drivers. Check in your displays menu and see if there's a DVI monitor listed, if there is, then you can do it, otherwise: your out of luck!
