    Hey all,

I just purchased a geforce XFX 6800 128 meg video card.

I have a 3 monitor set up, 1 PCI tnt2 card running one of them, and I had a radeon doing the other 2. Got the geforce plugged in and powered.

Windows boots up on my PCI monitor, detects the card, doesn't have drivers for it (no biggie).

So i go get the new nvidia drivers (67.11) and install them. When the progress bar hits 53% my only screen working (pci card one) flashes black, and has a blinking cursor on it. Numlocks frozen, pc is crashed.

    Happens everytime i've tried.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    here's my specs:

    Athlon xp 2800
    728 ram
    tnt2 pci
    geforce 6800 agp dual out
    Windows XP sp2

humm did you remove te ATI drivers first.
second remove the pci card till the new card works and set agp to be defalt graphics thing in bios if you have the option.

now try to install the drivers. If still no go then boot into safe mode and try installing the driver from there.

    Update -

    Hey all,

So after removing the PCI card, the new geforce works fine. This is great but i want my 3rd monitor back. It seems no matter what i do, when I boot my computer with both the new Geforce and the TNT2 the damn thing won't load windows.

It stops at the preloading screen (whatever you call it with the xp logo and knightrider lights) and crashes. Non-responsive no numlock working bull ****.

Any advice or similar problems share would be much appreciated! :wallbash:
