No noise level tests?
The most important factor in a cooler not sheer cooling performance, but rather it's the cooling/noise ratio of the cooler.

Same here. Why does this thing deserve even an 80% rating?
I don't mind the exclusion of LGA 2011 mounting hardware.
It reminds me that if I can afford an LGA 2011 system then I can certainly afford a cooler for the cpu that's a helluva lot better than this!
Does Gelid really give you enough products to review, that it's worth giving their products an automatic good rating?
Is your credibility as a review site, in truth, so cheaply bought?

I think you lot are jumping on too many bandwagons like the comments recently. If you dont like the opinions with the data presented, simply dont read it?
Its like you lot turning up to a Frankie Boyle gig to say that hes nasty horrible and totally absurd.

On topic however
Looks quite nice for a cooler and not a bad price vs temp rating considering the comparisons.

FYI this is not the MOST. It is a factor yes. But i think if im paying for an after market cooler its primary function is to COOL better than stock. Otherwise it wouldnt be a cooler would it?

 

Oh please stop it. People should realize the gravity of their comments when they throw the 'bought' accusation around willy-nilly. It's highly insulting to a writer. Why can't there just be a reason for an opinion that isn't paid? Maybe it was unsaid? Why not ask for more reasoning first?

 

Why did the recently tested (well Nov.2012) thermalright-macho-rev-a
fall off the charts?
