I've just read the Destructoid review and, my god, I've read some shoddy reviews in my time but that one takes the biscuit.

 

Mine does, but i did order the Limited Edition, Check online to see which one you ordered.

Also, at 74% install, it pops up with something i've not had for a long time:


"Please insert Disk 2"

Ninja Edit: Anyone been given a free copy of Bad Company 2? I've bought it on Steam and as a Physical Copy, but never through Origin, but it's saying it's ready to download....

 

ZZZ I thought all preorders would be limited edition...seems its the normal one I bought game was down for maintenance when I tried to check it seems its up now. Pretty sure I ordered limited edition.... One comment made a few mins ago on their site.

"PreOrdered this two months ago. Was hoping to get back to karakand and Physical warfare codes. Only got the Physical warfare key, No manual, No CD key No back to karakand. Absolute ********. Game are ****ing ******s. Dont order from them."

Seems we've been had.

 

I want to change my Origin ID, I have like 5 user names tied to EA's various game distribution services over the years, but I can't change them. I can't even see the usernames tied to my email address anymore.. Stupid.

 

I've ordered mine with Amazon, and have been checking it constantly for the past few days. Just checked now and finally it says "Dispatching Soon". Yay

Unfortunatly due to the rubbish postal system here (international deliveries are delayed by at least a day, not Saturday post), I probably won't get it until Tuesday or Wednesday

 

Ordered with Game and the Limited Edition arrived this morning. Loving it so far.

I got forza 4 a day late when i got it sent to ireland but BF3 is going to NI so hopefully ill get BF3 tomorrow

Done a bit of single player.

Not easy. Been killed a fair few times.
Does look very nice, and I'm only on High with 2x AA and 8x AF. Might try cranking it up.

 

You're pretty much forced to play on hard because that's the only difficulty that doesn't have aim assist. Bad design decision imho.

 

Nope, no game manual, but it does say clearly "Important: Serial Key also gives Automatic Access to Back to Karkland once Released"

Oh, I'm on normal.

Haven't noticed any aim assist.

 

I'm going to play like a boss 2night. As soon as the missus walks in and moans I'm outta the zone though!!!

 

I ordered from Game. Got my limited edition this morning containing 2 DVDs and 3 leaflet-y things. One with install instructions and a serial key for the BF3 and Back to Karkand, one telling me I'm eligible for a M1911 by joining the EA gunclub and that I have early entry into the ME3 multiplayer beta and the final one giving me the key for my limited edition unlocks.

 

Oh, Also, if you a physical copy of the game, you don't need the DVD in the drive to play.

putting it as favourite! tried hardcore last night. with minimap spotting it felts fairly "normal". the no HUD is the biggest difference and thats it.

and waaay lower kill count tho lol
