Yup, they will sell it to you a month after release and then give it away to everyone two months later. EA is a troll

 

Can anyone think of anything we can do to make this game get released faster?

Can't someone build a BF3BETA@Home Client to iron out all the bugs! Thats at least a few months of testing out of the way!

 

Well, we have E3 to look forward to, so hopefully we will see some MP action there as well as some further developed builds of the engine and game in general (remember that the footage thus far has been based on pre-alpha footage).

I would imagine that the BETA would go out to those that are eligible for it a month or two after E3 with the Demo perhaps a month or more after that. The release is still 5 months away.... poo.

 

I have just assumed it will be like it was with BC2, in that its not really exclusive its just early unlocks.

 

The DAO-12 is a day one unlock, but that defeats the purpose of earning the right to weild such an awesome piece of kit.

The others look to be exclusive, which is pretty naff to say the least.

Yeah, i think it's an Origin Exclusive "Sneak Peak" rather than the actual trailer.

At least, that's what it was with "The Old Republic" one... (i hope).

i thought that looked great my self, was all close combat, but to be far it was only a few seconds long and alot will be shown at E3 tomorrow i think.

 

It's really bloody difficult not to get excited about this game, especially after the unexpected awesomeness that was BFBC2.

It's good to see them capitalising on the praise they rightfully got for the excellent audio in BFBC2, as well; and working further on it for BF3.

IMO the Tank scene wasn't anything special... personally would have preferred more Infantry stuff.

 

they just released a trailer with just infantry, they cant please everyone all the time
