Not when the download is going to take 7 hours, installing now retail version is the same as the digital version. Else ZIIP couldnt send you the code and disk seperately.

Anyone up for some late-night BF3 B2K achievement grinding?

 

Does anyone know where I can download the update patch from. As Origin is so slow I might age a year by the time it finishes.

However when I downloaded it often got stuck at under 10kb/s so I think you're better sticking with Origin.

Just played on server tonight and DLDeadbolt was like a fly around sh*t, he was the fly, i was the sh*t, and he was a bloody deadly fly at that, everywhere i turned he was there killing me

Great game though,

 

I heard via Mumble. Deadbolt is deadly. But you do learn to watch where he is and shoot him xD I have his tags quite a few times. He's really good. We all get good with practice!!

 

I think my problem is the fact i was watching him, everytime he killed me i watched the kill cam and paid attention to where he was going, so stupid me follows everytime.

 

He does like to hide and wait xD Come back for more games soon. Also come on Mumble better coordination then xD

I just got back from my xmas/new year holiday trip back to sunny London! Anything dramatic change while I was away?

 

Nothing seem to have happened over Xmas, since the server being dead over that period.

It's back up to its former strength though, from the look of things yesterday. Filled up on 2nd map easily. Also, it's back to Karkand week this week.


What I want to know is that those people got the game on Xmas, have you got or are you going to get B2K?

I don't want to shut people out of the server, but B2K maps are just so much more awesome than default maps.

 

Agreed. They are. IMHO, the server has to have B2K maps on rotation in order to attract others to play.

As an aside, I'd like to discourage the playing of loud music or sound clips down the mic on the mumble channel.

 

What are peoples opinion of the G53? Personally I have really taken to it!
