S'all part of the fun. You have the shitty guns at the moment too, so to be expected. Once you unlock the M416/M249 and some Holo sights etc etc you'll start ruling.

 

M249 + holo sights is an awesome setup. I'm starting to like the PDWR a lot now as well. Not good for long range though.

 

i see, i already have the M416 but I've only 28 kills with it thus far.

 

SO good. I'm currently playing about with the MG36, quite good fun, though 100 rounds in the mag sometimes just isnt enough (fast reload though).

I prefer the UMP45 to the PDW, what is it you like about it? (To be fair, haven't unlocked much for the PDW)

A Holographic weapon sight is a non-magnifying gun sight that allows the user to look through a glass optical window and see a cross hair reticle image superimposed at a distance on the field of view. The hologram of the reticle is built into the window and is illuminated by a laser diode.



Very open sight, makes it easy for targeting enemies at close or mid range.

You need 80 kills with the M416 to unlock it! (52 to go!)

Not all the later weapons are great some take some getting used too. I love the L96 Sniper Rifle its evil and happens to be multiple current favourite recon weapon. Though i plan on getting at least one service star for all weapons. Also .44 Magnum is an ace pistol though low mag count and slowish reload time. Instakill close rage. I wonder if Deadbolt is going to beat my current accuracy standing in the friends leader board xD

 

It's awesome for quick reaction events I suppose. With the M249 in close combat I get killed first a lot of the time, but with the PDW I come on top most of the time. The only thing I don't like about it is that I run out of ammo after killing two guys and get killed by the third. I just need those 10 extra bullets. There is no such problem with the M249 especially when you have a couple of guys standing directly behind each other .

 

I just can't seem to get to grips with the M249, just lacks the power of the PKP. Just need to play with it a bit more.

The AK-74M is still a fantastic weapon, even if it is a starter weapon. Good sights, great damage.
Gunny, you should be well able to rack up kills with it after Crysis!

I'm dabbling with too many weapons at the moment, but the PP-19 is fantastic. The bullet spread is negligible at medium range and single shot is very accurate, so it can suit pretty much any class. The decent RoF and 50-rnd mag is excellent for hosing down squads.

 

I have to say, I love the G36C since un-locking it - heavy barrel, foregrip and acog sight.

Add a wingman as either a recon with a soflam for people and vehicle sniping or a support guy for endless ammo and some good stopping power against roaming squad and you have a recipe for some seriously destructive fun.

Also, mines, I love to leave little explosive presents randomly throughout a map, it often nets you lots of passive vehicle kills.

I must admit, since B2K was released, I have barely played any other maps or modes outside of B2K large conquest.

 

Since the nerf the Scar-H has become a pointless weapon it's just not as fun anymore. Though it was very much OP.

Oh and least I forget I do miss the GOL! I loved that sniper rifle in BC2!!

The PDWR is a pretty good weapon at close range, distance it sucks but it's not designed for that at all.

Oh and not also forgetting TACTICAL C4 DEPLOYMENT.

Most would use it on Rush, sticking it on M-COMS. But Conquest it has it's uses. I should record a night soon when we are just messing about. Suicide jeeps and the like and not forgetting deployment on C4 at A on Karkand. People don't look at the roof when they go in xD

 

Try using the Kobra sight on it and you can range find very quickly on single fire. Rarely does the opportunity, or need, present itself but it can be worthwhile.

 

I will keep that in mind.

The suicide jeeps are awesome. I stick em on the front of the LAV's as well in case I run into tanks, so I can just drive into them, jump out and boom destroy a mofo.

 

Hi man, i also get the basic theme for playing fsx with 8gb ram etc, so not sure why it happens though!

 

Personally for Assault im using the M16A3/Holo/Silencer. Found that to be the best combo by far, the other 2 guns i use are the AN-94 & FAMAS first being by far the best at long range and the second being the best at close range.

The M16 is a nice mix of both!

 

I get this to, no idea why I just assumed my system was getting a bit stressed.

 

I also get the basic theme thing, very annoying!
