There are lots of bullet reg issues.

Example. I run round a corner whilst being shot at, I am physically behind a solid wall and I still end up dead or low health as the bullets seem to follow me.

I hate this when it happens to me but love it when it works the other way around. There are lots of issue where even though behind cover or a wall that cannot be destroyed splash damage from rockets/nades etc still hurts or kills you.

In stairwells that cannot be destroyed rockets seem to hurt you even though they arent direct just spread out over the area. This happens with Heli's quite a lot.

 

Forgot to add that there is no 3rd person view in the vehicles either.

Usually on in the evening, anytime from 7pm onwards till late depends on activity. Soon as the server drops to CPC/Mumble only we usually find a different server.

Yep, 7pm onwards. I played from about 830 til 11 last night!

 

I think he was talking about HC mode in reply to adidan's earlier query about HC mode .

 

I know this is PC thread, but for the console version does it have auto-aim enabled? Because a load of these youtube videos with ridiculous kills all seem to be console version

No, many of the montages that are posted on reddit (for example) tend to be PC. Especially tank montages, as the tank turret speed is crippled on the console. Here's one I particularly enjoyed (although you may have to excuse the name):

Tbh, I find hardcore easier than normal mode, even without spotting. I think it is way easier to get kills due to the reduced health. Especially if I get in a tank on a smaller conquest map. Only issue is every time I've been on the ZiiP servers no-one repairs/plays cohesively as a squad unless I'm there with CPC VOIP buddies. That said, I prefer normal mode as I think it allows for more competitive play and team dynamics; there's a reason all competitive BF3 matches are normal mode.

 

Well, after finding my feet a tad with the engineer I thought it about time to start the other classes going to give me some flexibility.

So I started a bit of support today and I must say, C4, I love the frikkin stuff. It makes me laugh every time.

 

Another thing about BC2 vs BF3, I loved BC2 hardcore but in BF3 I prefer softcore mostly because no one drops health or it's hard to find in a large hardcore conquest server. I really only play hardcore conquest if I have a squad of four people who I can talk to. Then we tear **** up


I also have to say canister shells are the cats meow. They are so damn good and I love them so much. You can easily warn off an enemy attack heli or snipe people from a pretty long distance with them and if you miss then send in a tank HE shell to finish the job

So does anyone have any idea why push-to-talk won't work on mumble as soon as I go into fullscreen mode?

Ok I managed to fix it by reinstalling both mumble and setpoint.

 

I dunno works for everyone else lol

Just tried to launch some BF3 after not having played in awhile.

I join a server from the server browser, launches singleplayer.

So I try to join that same server by joining my friend (who saw me joining the server and joined it successfully) and guess what? Launches singleplayer.

FML.

 

I had that the other day, I'd accidentally typed in the wrong password to Origin.

I shut origin down and reentered everything, worked fine.

 

Yeah I think it happens when Origin is having an issue or is in offline mode.
