every single shot they fired hit 2 people? may be M320/RPG all round?

Probably only fired one shot in the entire game and killed the 2 people (most likely connected at the end of the round), possibly in a tank or as above via M320/RPG.

We've talked about this before. It can easily happen if, for example, you hit 2 people with one sniper round. Or if you use shotguns all day and hit multiple people with every shot (easily possible with the bullet spread) - I would guess the latter is what he did as it's usually that. People run in to that choke point spraying with the shotty and it's impossible to miss hitting multiple blokes.

EDIT: This is hilarious and slightly ridiculous.

I was pants when I started but now I'm reasonable in a jet. Trust me, starting without flares and heatseekers is a hard way to start but the best way to learn, otherwise you'll be dependent on the gadgets and not know how to evade stingers.

Whilst heat seekers might seem like a great idea, they're severely hampered against anything with flares, so learn to use the machine gun early, and always aim a fraction ahead of the enemy jet.

Knock your mouse sensitivity up a few notches, it'll help with sharper turns. Slow down when turning and aiming.

Enemy helos are easy targets for machine guns so start with them.

Also, use the mouse look [RMB] and 3rd person view [c] to get a good scope of your surroundings and pick a target before going in for the kill.

i actually struggle with taking down choppers, Draca in a chopper is my biggest source of rage.

with planes, you get a lot of opportunity, just need to learn to match their movement and stay on their tail.

with helicopter, you have shorter time to line up than ground targets, and they can move a lot faster.

I was on foot, the guy was trying to kill me in his chopper. I had the stinger. Big mistake for him. First missile missed, he passed me then turned around to have a second go at me, my second stinger locked, fired and his chopper was 100% disabled, it passed overhead and crashed, wasn't sure if he survived so I threw a grenade, then saw him running towards me, he saw me, shot me dead, then he was killed by my grenade. Win win for me.

Start in the little bird, its easily the most versatile and lightweight chopper, very very controllable and hard to crash, plus it has an awesome minigun.

But to become instantly good at flying choppers...... use an Xbox 360 controller. So much easier

I'd have to disagree with the controller being ideal; for helis the keyboard and mouse will give you the maximum maneuverability, albeit with a steeper learning curve. It's worth investing the time though, as once you get good with the mouse and kb, your heli flying will prove... irritating to the other team. :thumb:

After I watched the jet flying lesson vids someone posted here earlier, I realised the joystick/throttle wasn't adjusting the speed properly. What I mean is BF3 gives minimal control of throttle so with throttle at idle the jet does not slow down. Pressing the S key while flying with joystick breaks the speed properly. I have thus assigned the S key to one of the buttons on my HOTAS (on the throttle). It's now easy to pull 9g+ turns while using stick and throttle. I find the joystick precise for dogfighting and better to use than a mouse.

There's a settings editor by Realmware which gives you a bit more control over keybinds (http://bf3.realmware.co.uk/settings-editor/).

Some admins are really, really stupid. I just got kicked from a server when i called a player idiot - guy took the tank and sinked it in canals about 10 seconds after the spawn. I don't know how else should i call such player. A genius maybe ?
