Same story here. When I call people idiots I get a 3 day ban.

    So I can't say you're an idiot.

Since I started using the BF3 settings editor util it "appears" to have ****ed up my BF3 and Origin. Firstly the BF3 game menu stopped appearing so I had to repeatedly close the game. Now Origin is crashing and going very very slow. Can't start BF3 at all now. Reinstalled Origin. Same.

Either Origin is down and can't access the server or the BF3 util has screwed my Origin and BF3. Never had issues with BF3 before and Origin is just "not responding" whenever I run it now. Now it says "no games detected" from my Origin catalog.

Closed it, restarted origin and now it stops working and just sits in memory.

Never seen anything like it b4. The game had been working fine since I bought it last year. I run that BF3 util and change a few graphic settings and now Origin doesn't work.

    EDIT:

Maybe coincidence... Some others also have the Origin problem...

So maybe it's coincidence Origin servers are ****ing up right about the time I started playing with the util. It's just strange the game menu started disappearing.

Wasted over an hour on this now so ****ing off for guitar practice.

Thanks for that link feathers, I was getting worried and just about to do as full re-install. Turns out it's just some server maintenance according to this post:

Doubt it's the settings editor, loads of people use it, myself included and I've had no issues.

Yeah my Origin stopped responding as well - think it's a global issue atm

Feathers, have you tried turning it off and on again?

If not add plant food via the coffee mug holder and do 10 hail marys

Maybe just say nothing at all. It is annoying but you achieve nothing by insulting him.

    Bad timing I guess.

Cos it started with the BF3 game rather than Origin. Game menu stopped appearing.

Can you imagine this crap happening with STEAM?

    Must it?

Is it like the TV that stops working but it was never a problem before so no reason for it to stop working?

Glad to see I'm not the only one having issues with Origin tonight. Although one workaround which has seemed to work for me so far is to log into Origin manually and then in the settings button "Go Offline". It will still let you join online games via Battlelog - see if this works for you :)

    NO GAMES DETECTED

    Origin = offline.

    Battlelog...

    Choose server....

Origin pops up saying Game Activation required...

    Click on it...

    Game activation unavailable at moment...
