i know how you feel Rottie, sometimes i find it hard to look away from my U2711. i sometimes just sit at desktop, staring at the screen admiring the colours.

Most of my machine was otherwise OK but I recently went from a HD4850 to the new 680 and it made a world of difference to how quick I could react, etc in BF3.

Expect you'll get even more MPV's Digi once the new PC's up and running!!

 

lol, I only mentioned the screen because I wonder if I am possibly sitting too close, and whether that has given me some sort of eye strain thing :/ Doubtful though as I sit about an arms length, shoulder to finger tips from my screen.

Speaking of upgrades, I'm using EVGA step up to trade in my GTX 580 (for a GTX 670) for the princely sum of £12

most important thing with a screen regarding your health is to make sure you are looking slightly up at it.

If you have to raise your head slightly, then this will role your shoulders back and prevent you from developing bad posture and back problems from learning forward toward your monitor.

You can walk into any office these days and see people with their screens too far away leaning the top half of their body toward them, it's not good.

 

Exactly, I've been playing between 15-30fps on the LOWEST SETTINGS in BF3 up to now and no one can withstand my domination.

I'm actually scared at the potential that will be unlocked..

If only I had been recording when I got that repair tool kill on you yesterday. It was hilarious not only because you had your pistol out and I thought **** it, REPAIR TOOL TIME, but because a few minutes earlier I had got another repair tool kill, laughed, and you were, 'meh big deal', then later on, I get another one, but had no idea it was you lol. The lolz was purely because it wasn't your run of the mill repair tool in the back, it was full on, full facial repair toolage, so the guy you're repairing is probably thinking NO NO NO, as much as I'm thinking YES COME ON GET IN THERE!! If I was gonna put some music to that, for some reason, the song 'baby let me love you' comes to mind, for pure cheesyness

Well, finally got my shotty medal. Thought I'd give them a rest for a while but still wanting to play support to get some more claymore and mortar kills (300 FFS!!!! ) I was wondering what to go with.

Picked up the PDW-R/RDS/Laser/Ext Mag and I'd forgot how capable it was. Handy for close combat and you can pick of a few with enough shots at medium distance. Well, either that or my now trusty scoped magnum.

 

I must admit, I'm not a fan of the RDS. I don't like how it focuses you down the aim. You can't see the area around you. Prefer the holographic personally. Just don't like the tunnel-vision you get from the RDS.

And I know what you mean about that bloody mortar. I'm going to hate getting that medal.
