    Btw, does anyone know if you get 48hr early access to beta for preordering anywhere? I kind of want the specact kit (as it's the only preorder kit that can't be unlocked elsewhere) but want the 48hr early access as well...

    Overall rankings are by total score. In my own experience no one really cares about their ranking because it's not really a measure of skill, just of playtime and stat padding.

    BF has always had a pretty big emphasis on stats due to having persistent stat tracking, it's nice to have multiple soldiers in order to keep from messing up your stats when you want to try something different. Say you've been pretty heavy into sniping on one soldier and you're really proud of your accuracy stat, when you want to play a class using something like an LMG you may want to switch to a different soldier simply because the nature of the weapon will drop your accuracy stat even when used skillfully.

    That's what I used multiple soldiers for, at least. In BF2142 in particular I had a main soldier (assault/support), recon soldier, and engineer soldier. That way the inherent stat advantages and disadvantages of each class didn't mess with each other.

    Hah! To think my neighbors said that all of the goat sacrifices were "pointless" and "inhumane". Proves them wrong!

    Awesome trailer, exactly what I wanted to see more of after playing in the Alpha.
