Personally I don't like the look of CQ. I dont think it plays to battlefields strengt, large open spaces, destructable environments and vehicle warfare I am looking forward to armored kill more.

But I guss if your interested in 2/3 of the 5 expansions and you can get premium with some of the recent discounts it could be worth it?

Out of interest, where did you end up buying these? Cheapest I've found is Gamefly at £19.99

CQ was more to appeal to the COD fanbois to try and bring them over, IMO.

It's OK for a round here and there if you just want some fast paced infantry action.

How much can premium add on be had for?

I've already got BF3 with Strike at Karkand.

I figured as much, don't get me wrong, l'm glad they have added variety to the game and no doubt there will plenty who do enjoy it. I'm just not one of them.

One of my mates is trying to convince me to get premium but I already have b2k (came with my copy) and I dont like the look of CQ. So already 40% of premium is not worth it for me, and since I have no idea what aftermath and end game will add, spending another 30 odd quid seems a bit of a waste.

Don't forget Armoured Kill in there.

But yeah. CQ isn't really BF3, it's a much faster, twitchier, insane version, closer to Call of Duty than it ought to be.

That said; I'm still better in smaller maps with less people, Anything much over 12 a side and I start to do worse and worse simply because i can't keep track of everything that's going on.

Yeah armored kill is the only bit of the expansions that interests me currently.

I'm the opposite, I prefer to take advantage of the chaos in the larger battles. I like to point hop in fast transports with a few squad members capping or stopping a decap. Like a rapid reaction squad.

Probabbly because I am a rubbish sniper and a terrible shot with LMGs lol. Incidently I play engineer :)

Best thing about Close Quaters is 5 of the 10 weapons made avaiable. Those being the Scar-L, L86, MTAR, ACW-R and the M417. They aren't must have, but are very pleasant additions to the staples of the usual suspects.

Accuracy Elton, I was watching someone play yesterday, and as I said to them: Spot -> aim -> shoot. Instead of spot -> shoot -> aim . Try just using something actually accurate, rather than the scrub you normally use :D.

I just love the FAMAS it's so jarring to use against others because they give me hackusations all the time! :thumb: As for accurate, here's a really really weird fact about me. I have miserable accuracy with the M16 and the AEK despite being very deadly with them. The oddball (basically absolute **** guns) are just so much more satisfying and fun to play than the well balanced one. It's why my top 3 weapons are the Magnum, KH and the 870.

I think my next oddball gun shall be the QBZ. I would use the Type-88 but JEEESUS that gun is horrid. Not even accurate.

Yes, yes it is BUT every time I use it I think of the Bren gun from Lock, Stock and it makes me smile :D
