That last game, oh man (pun..) now that was an whooping that levelled into hackusations really bloody quickly.

Vehicular homicide was the name of the game. And boy, was it good.

Damn right, it was just beasty play from all of us and the scoreboard and the other team weeped.. that was the most fun I've had in some time! MOAR Gulf of Oman tbh..

 

Just got banned for playing well on a German Server. Apparently, using shotgun + flechette and TUGS was considered hacking.. Then again I did go 8/0..

 

Using your lag hacks again?

 

I had hard time explaining to one guy with 400 ping (he was playing on French server from Malaysia) is pretty close to a cheat...

Need 30 mins in attack heli for the service medal of 20 hours so I'll be up for some more Gulf, or whatever, action tonight. Then I think I have all the 'x hour' service medals and I can just relax doing my own thing as an all-rounder.

Wow Dwarfer, that is one epic work shift, if you haven't managed to get home to friend Digi_BF yet.

Something I've only just understood is the conditional bullet feature of the client side detection we've got. The server operates a game clock, and will ignore your client after the game time that has been reported you died.

 

You realise you just lowered your integrity yet again. Jester has a job, he enjoys various video games. Is a beast on BF3.

And all this bravado means nothing on the interwebs and yet again not showing your lol worthy stats reaffirms you most likely suck!

Just got back into BF3 after a good 3+ month break, finding it hard going but loving it. Helps that we got another one of our friends involved so we have a nice squad of 4 now.

Is it just me though, or have the driving mechanics been changed? Tanks seem to have a fair amount of over steer compared to before. And WTF have they done to the Javlin!!!? I know it was a little too effectively before but now it’s seems fairly useless, I have reverted back to the RPG/SMAW.

Also, have the B2K maps gone down in popularity? Previously I never had trouble finding servers with conquest / conquest large with Wake Island, Strike at Karkand, or Sharqui Peninsular, but now it always only Gulf of Oman and very few of them at that.

If I apply the filter to only look for the B2K maps with map rotation enabled but game mode rotation disabled I often get no matches, un-like previously :/

 

I'd forgotten about it until Jester posted but I'm honestly not bothered either way. The offer still stands but I have nothing to prove and I don't know why you feel you need to either.

In other news, a late night game session yesterday turned into a massacre yet again as me, rotty, tiger and achilles pumped another Gulf of Oman server full of holes - turning around a loss in the process. Ended up on 69-9 or something equally ridiculous (with 33-0 at one point) and we had a whole lot of fun again.

Think we'll have to get some Gulf going on our server and seed it because it simply is one of the most fun maps vehicle wise.

Tanks are over-steering and drifting quite a bit yea.. Jav got a slight nerf but is still very powerful with a SOFLAM or other laser designator.

Maybe the B2K maps were just full when you searched? I personally prefer Gulf and Wake Island so don't search the others but I always manage to find one. Come armoured kill there'll be plenty of those types of maps making a resurgence, right now people are playing CQ (smaller) type stuff.

 

Good laugh last night with Tiger and Deadbolt. We made a good Javelin Squad on Gulf of Oman. Pretty much everything US that came over the water had a Javelin in it
