WHOOP. Parts arrive tomorrow. HUZZAH. That means you will all come gaming tomorrow evening and laugh as I flounder around like a Magicarp while getting pooped on by every player under the sun.

Fuss has decided to give BF3 a rest he told me ages ago, though he may be tempted back.

Nice choice of Wireless adapter, just took mine out of service. Got a nice 1Gbit wired net now, even if I was apparently lagging hard on the recent temporary cable arrangements on it

I would avoid wireless internet for any MP. I ran with one for awhile and had a terrible connection. Wired with Homeplugs now and everything is super awesome.

Great games with Telltale, Ezzrah, eekor, GaelicWarrior and Fiangolach. Basically all the folks from hehe.

And we must tempt Fuss back to the battlefield!

Got my system up and running, just installing everything now.

My BF3 is just the bog standard original, so no CQ or Back to Karkand... what do I need to buy to get up to date? It says premium isn't around until September...?

Premium. Either via retail (probably a lot cheaper) or via right click on Battlefield 3 in Origin, click Shop for addons and there you will see it.

When it says 'pre-order' does that mean that I get all the add ons that are available now, but then have to wait like everyone else for Armoured Kill etc?

Yep, it should work that way. But i cannot guarantee it. I am sure i bought Premium on day 2 they started selling it, and i can play close quarters.

    Here is how it works.

Buy Premium and you get B2K and Close Quarters plus some extra achievements for Camo on Guns etc and Double XP Weekends and other bonus stuff.

Works out cheaper per DLC with Premium. Plus up to two week access of new DLC before everyone else.

Obviously everyone has Premium so it's not such a great thing. But still nice to have.

Yeah, upon ordering it says that it installs all currently released DLC and gives advanced access to the others etc.

Fab. Done. Now just need my download to speed up.

The download from Origin is very slow, but most servers when gaming are pretty good.

Our Community Server is great for almost everyone. *cough* Elton...

Do you plan on coming on Mumble soon too?

Have any of you started doing the continual screenshot thing at all? Just set fraps (or whatever) to keep capturing a screenie every so often, I've been doing 30seconds, and look through them after your session, you can find some highly amusing ones and some cool ones.
