BF3 shows what PC's can do.

It's a great shame that only DICE seem to have the balls to make a PC Game first and then port it over to consoles!

It'd be the worst BDay ever if the servers were that crammed you couldn't connect.. it's happened before lol

Given all the issues I've experienced over time with in-game server browsers I fully welcome battlelog.

You guys are also forgetting the other benefits of a web based launcher, imagine this:
"Hey, this website/clan/group has their own server, I wonder what it's like!" *click link on website which takes you in-game*

So true, it happened with BC2 for me. At least I'll have SP right, unless that's dependant on servers too?

Wow, thanks for clearing that up. I really never put the two together

    Anyways.

I just don't care for that system. To me it's just another unnecessary component that can fail and bring down the whole system.

It uses origin. I'm not installing that piece of crap again let alone any of digital distribution platform. At this point I just don't feel like giving EA my monies.

The browser page crashed FF and chrome a lot for me. Couldn't figure out why. I wasn't a fan of logging into Origin and then logging into battlelog. Why two logins?

Chrome and FF never crashed for me, Origin isn't that bad, use auto-login so zero logins after the first....

You fail in every possible way to grab the concept the game is work in progress. The ALPHA wasn't there for you to bitch and moan at how **** the engine is, or how **** origin is (in your opinion)

The ALPHA was there primarily for one reason only, and that was server stability.

I have your answer, you don't like the game, next time don't apply for the ALPHA and waste a slot when a person who is interested in the game can HELP make it better and second, don't buy the game!

let's be honest here. alpha, beta are all here to build up the hype for the game. they sound more exciting than demo and if there are bad things, people could just say it's not finished yet.

    Greetings!
This doesnt make any sense. A game can be updated how many times the developer wants. It has nothing to do with server browser based browser.
Deus EX HR, relased this week, has already two updates:

Pretty sure Origin could do the same.

And, for the ones comparing server browser based browser to the BC2 ingame server browser, BC2s isnt exactly the best out there.
