Luckily virtually everybody these days has a smartphone with internet access and Google Search.
Ban them, or at least restrict the information people can access, we can't have any dissenting voices if we want a strong and stable government.
Agreed. It's the right thing to do.
Strong and stable!
Strong and stable!
Sounds like a microbrewery brand.
Clearly the right beer to drink.
You can't accuse the EU of not having a sense of humor.
Got a letter from our Conservative MP giving us an update about Cyprus - I live in an area with a large Greek Cypriot community in London.
Pretty much starts by stating we need a strong and stable leadership to support the just reunification of Cyprus. Ends by saying he trusts we will appreciate the need for a strong leadership from our PM and a strong local voice in Parliament.
I feel they should be looking a little closer to home when discussing divisions....
I feel the need for a cloud2butt-like extension, to swap "strong and stable" with "iron-fisted".
Iron-fisted is an understatement
Well, there is certainly some kind of fisting going on...
I'm too tired to care anymore. In a democracy people get the government they vote for.
Given what I saw and heard yesterday at my polling station (am a polling clerk) I completely agree with you and I actually think the country will be painted blue come june 9th
The problem on this occasion is there is little in the way of a viable choice. I look around at the options and just hold my head in my hands.
UKIP didn't fair very well in the local elections, what's the betting that Labour will trot out the line that at least they didn't do as badly as UKIP in an attempt to cover up their failures.
My prediction for East Sussex County Council is CON GAIN of at least +6 for overall control
Up here in Scotland we have even less choice, but hey we all get the government (council) we vote for, (not).
Try Northern Ireland, where the biggest anti-brexit party refuse to take their MP seats, and the only brexit party is the biggest party. And they're probably only brexiteers because everyone else here are remainers...
