ive just picked up a Replacement to my H70 which has developed a squeak and bubbles when tipped ( so im guessing a fair amount of the coolant has evaporated ) and the H80 Gt came with Corsairs new non LED fans and im wondering if anyone knows if they are better / worse than my venerable Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP-15s that have run in my rig for likely close to a decade without fault, or if i should go with the newer generation of fans

and if nobody knows, would anyone be interested in a benchmark between them ( using my 3770k as a benchmark )

I seriously doubt any fans will make a difference worth the outlay. GTs are still plenty good enough.

I think EK's vardar fans are basically GT's I think, as scythe stopped making them and lease out the design. So I'd say they'll still be as good as anything else out there.
