    Hi guys,

I think this is the most appropriate place to place this thread, so here goes. On my old machine, I had two monitors and was able to get a different background on each one through the Nvidia conrol panel thingy... now on my new machine, I still have two monitors, but I can't get a different background on each one... I have a Nvidia 9600GT and it's all uptodate in terms of drivers etc... I'm running windows vista 64 bit as well if that helps... any ideas would be appreciated

    Cheers:thumb:

The easiest and cheapest way to do it is to grab the backgrounds you want, resize them to your resolutions, and combine them into one (Paint does it fine, just remember to save as PNG). Then choose the result as the background and play with the Stretch/Center/Tile setting (can't remember which one it is).

Another, but costy, solution is UltraMon.

On a similiar topic, if i have two monitors and want to play a game full-screen, will i be able to keep it on just one monitor and have the other one display whatever i had on it before i started the game, or will the game stretch out to both monitors?

    Cheers for that mmvr...
with regards to DragunovHUN... whatever game ur playing, if u adjust the aspect ratio to that of ur main monitor, the game will play on one screen while leaving the second monitor still showing windows or whatever os ur running... haven't had it myself where the game spans both the screens...
    hope that helps

I use Display Fusion, have done for oever 6 months. You do not have to pay to maintain two seperate backgrounds, and it will not nag you.

Included within the free product is the ability to drag a maximised app between your two screens. Very handy.

Same from me, have been using Display Fusion for quite a while now with my multi monitor setups and it's not only simple to use but it works - 100% of the time ;)
