    Hi folks,

Maybe I need to buy the latest version of the game to solve my problems, however I thought I'd ask for advice here first...

I devoted (wasted???!!!) many hours to FM2009 last year, and I've started to get back into it again. What's frustrating however is that all the team data and players is a couple of years out of date.

Aside from buying the new game is there anything I can do to start a new season with current data?

    Many thanks,

    Cleggy,

I doubt it - the whole culture of football games is needing to buy the latest version to get your teams up to date.

You might be able to modify the game files to include newer data, but it'd probably be a rather large amount of work.

Yeah i play 01/02 still too! That was the greatest Champ game ever!

There are lots of Mod communities out there (or were), i presume they still are which provided patches to update your game.

There is (or was when I played) a large community making updates. CMfrenzy, thedugout are a couple of sites that may have links. unfortunately they are not official updates so may be a biased towards the country of whoever did the update.

I tryed the finctional version a couple of times and it was really challenging as you can't just buy those dirt cheap wonderkids you always have to buy!

Dionis Chiotis is right! Second best keeper on the game behind Franco Costanzo (If you could ever get a work permit).

I never got Cerci or Roncatto tho!

Mike Duff, Nikolas Tobros, Stefan Selakovic, Aghahowa of course! Kiegan Parker the list goes on!
