Heres the dealie: I had half-life a good time ago, but since then my disk-cases have been broken , smashed gorged an eaten (by the dog  ). My question is, what do I need to get back into Half-life? When I last got it, I bought HF:Generations which included HF, Counterstrike, Team fortress and Opposing force.

Basically I want the entire HF range, on disks, in my hands, NOW damnit! I already have the Blueshift disk (the only one not to succome to the ravages of age and dogies alike).

So, now you've read the most rushed post I'v ever written, whats yur answer... oh, btw, I WANT IT NOW! :p

Hmmmm im not sure if it will include the new patches. I think they only updated the patches that came with the retail version when blue shift came out. I think you would still need to download :sigh: get a mate with broadband to get it and disc it ;)

I find it a good idea to order a CD from FilePlanet with a load of patches on - only costs about a fiver and saves a LOT of time, bandwidth and money.

I know for a fact that retail CS is version 1.0 and we're now on 1.5. Similarly for TFC.

I do have ADSL, but even with that its a lot of hassle to download ALL those patches, I *might* consider the fileplanet option, I'm still not sure I want to pay for something I can get for free.

If u have broadband there really isnt much problem then. Its only the main half life patch which is 78mb, cs which is 150mb and dod which is 200mb will take about 2 hours
