I'm guessing the answer to this will be "just get a gigabit switch as well" BUT: Does anyone know of a cable (DSL) router which has a built in gigabit switch rather then the usual 10/100? Needs wirless too.
I've had very good result from the SMC Networks range of networking gear, it's a German company that makes both commercial and residential routers. I have a 10/100/1000's 4-port Gigabit router with VPN/Firewall from SMC and it only cost me about $85 USD. A quick search of SMC's website revealed this model http://www.smc.com/index.cfm?event=viewProduct&localeCode=EN_CAN&cid=1&scid=119&pid=1634 ... 4-port Gigabit router, with firewall, 802.11a/b/g, Draft-N and a print-server. They're easy to use, intuitive interface and don't usually cost an arm and a leg. I also use their Gigabit switches around the house.
