A friend, who I will not name to shame, Was running a 1.0G TB on a GA-7zx with a Geforce2 on a 250W non-approved PSU decided to try an o/c the video card (no extra cooling at all - not even any case fans) and all was fine until 6 hours into the lan-party when his rig kept crashing - so he ripped the sides off to cool it and kept going..... Result.. toasted PSU + Geforce2 (he took it back to PC-world and they swapped it as it was 2-weeks old) and a capacitor next to the AGP slot on the board was heated until the burst lines split and the contents leaked out. The m/b still worked - for a week or so The moral of the story... If it smells of smoke - Stop!
