Gigabyte DQ6 case open / close pin ?

    Hello

    I was trying to find were the hell this pin is ? the case open and close !

    I see the option on the bois , but cannt see the pin on the motherboard !

    my motherboard is Gigabyte Ga-965p-DQ6 .... all Know that lol

    If you have one on your case you'll know about it.

    It doesn't really do anything apart from tell you when the case is open.

    I will build one on my case , when I do the project ..

    but when I'm planing about the wires , I need to know were the hell that pin on the motherboard ?

    yeah Its just to make every thing perfect :D

    it doesn't do anything handy. just a security option that alerts you that someone opened the door every time you boot. it's annoying, everyone disables it.

    I know that . but I was want to know and do it , because this in my plans ..

    its not important and it dont do any thing , but in my plans I need it :D the lambo doors ..

    This can also be detected by software and do things like shutdown the computer, or sound off an alarm. I would advise you to read the motherboard manual.

    Tip: Rig it to an explosive device. Quick self-destruction when someone tries to steal your harddrives or RAM. They should be selling PCI cards with C4 on them. Would be kinda cool. <j/k>

    Omg man you kick ass ... you inspire me !!! this will be kick ass !!! security system .. OMG you the best .. now I will do it alarm when any power circuit go down !!! or some one try to open the computer without the keys or something !!! I cant explain what I mean but you will see it ..

    AND WTF C4 in a computer ROFL !!! this will be the end of the computers .. if some one steal it its all gone .. nice idea !!
