Gigabyte DS3 "F7 Bios"

    Right now this is what im getting. I dropped down the multi from 8 to 7 and raised FSB. The new "F7" bios have a cpu vcore up to 2.0v:thumb:

    Yeah, F7 did me right too. I was FSB walled at around 414 on F5. Now doing a steady 425x8 Prime95 and Orthos stable.

    THAT is a nice use of the DS3 there, Sladesurfer. Absolutely so. May I recommend using Core Temp or Intel Thermal Analysis Tool for tracking CPU temps over any motherboard based utility. EasyTune is notorious for the fact that it reads the socket sensor's temp instead of the CPU's built in thermal sensor and actual temps can be as much as 10C hotter then what ET and the bios is reporting. It's shouldn't vary THAT much on your water cooled setup, but I can bet it's still a few degrees off actual. Over on XS forums and [H] forums DS3 owners commonly report ET giving lower then Core Temp/iTAT reported temps that further investigation shows ET/bios to be what's incorrect.
