HDCP drm is invented by morons and pushed into our mouths by money wolfs of 4 big companies that think they control the world of music and movies, its a useless peace of crap that nobody on this world needs or wants or has use for but we all have to pay for it.

Watch this HD over VGA feature vanish as soon as the MPAA can get it's attack dogs (lawyers) ready...

am i the only one that sees a pretty mint-looking LAN board in this one?

It's compact-ish, has sata-o-plenty, and leaves room for a good GPU + soundcard. Do we need more?

I was under the assumption that HD playback is possible over vga as it is an analogue connection. HDCP is only required over a digital connection.

Correct shahidur. The video should only get downrezzed over vga if the Image Constraint Token is set on the discs which AFAIK is not the case with any of the currently released discs.
