Yes it does! However I am disappointed that they do not cover any DSLR stuff, yet.... That image of Obama's swear in is amazing! Gigapixel indeed, I can only imagine a camera with decent glass and high res on this thing, it would be astounding! I'll be watching this with great interest, and the price isnt bad at all really...
i think they are planning a dslr version. but it will probably be considerbly more money since dslr's are much heavier than P&S. However combine this with a G10 or a S series and it could be quite useful.

IIRC there are instructions on instructables.com detailing how to make your own version of these for use with dSLRs.
This method does create some interesting artifacts when used in places with lots of movement: Policeman ghost, headless man and lonely feet. edit: sorry about the hand-cursor...
