I am seeing a friends gig down the cargo.

I can never really be bothered with looking up gig dates.

But normally if I see something advertised etc I would go.

Gigs lined up so far include:

    Trivium - 17th March - Cardiff Uni
    Trivium - 18th March - Exeter Uni
Less Than Jake - April - Bristol Academy

With the next bands touring this year sometime:

Nine Inch Nails (Trent mentioned in an interview that theyd be back sometime around April/May/June time, possibly coinciding with European Festivals)

Muse (Releasing new album late spring/early summer, definitely touring around that time, also Reading and Leeds Festivals)

Tool (Again, releasing a new album around late spring, although Tool albums never have been on time. They will be over here in the UK on a promotional tour in Feb, however they wont be playing any gigs, just interviews and such, due to their guitarist Adam not being with them at the moment).

I feel as if Im having gig-withdrawl symptoms, the last one I went to was waaaay back in October! Which for me in gig terms is a very long time!

And to whoever asked about Trivium support, the support bands are Bloodsimple, and the awesome God Forbid. For more info go to trivium.org and find out there!

    Trivium-10th March, Manchester.
I know that Bloodsimple and God Forbid are supporting them, do you think that they will both play, or will they do alternate nights?
My second gig ever, should be good.

I hear Pitchshifter are playing in Portsmouth soon. I may go to that for old times sake.

A few guys at uni are talking about taking a trip over to Germany for Wacken in the summer. If it all goes through i'll definitely consider joining them. I can sum up the line-up for this festival in one word. Orgasmic.

They will be both playing on every night of the tour, with Bloodsimple as openers, then God Forbid, then Trivium. And what was the first gig may I ask?

As for Wacken, Id go just for Children of Bodom! Havent heard much of the other bands, and some I havent even heard of! Its good to see Emperor and Ministry are back

First gig was System Of A Down last year. Was quite good, even though I don't like Mezmerize (Hypnotize wasn't out at the time), they played lots from the best albums. I'm thinking Trivium is going to be a lot better, though.

Good stuff :thumb: I saw SOAD last year at Download, however I cant remember much as I was totally dead from Slayer and Slipknot before hand. Trivium will def be awesome, saw them at Newport last year. Not long to go!

HORSE The Band @ Stockon : 22nd Feb iirc.
Across Five Aprils (spting. The Hurt Process) @ Hartlepool : 25th April

I missed Bring Me The Horizon who were supporting Bleeding Through, which I'm annoyed about.

    errrmm...

    nothing else planned :(

We we'll prob have to wait quite a while for that, theyre recording a new album at the mo (out either late 06 or sometime 07). Speaking of Download, 3 bands have been announced that will be playing (Prodigy, Trivium, Bullet for my Valentine), however no headliners have been announced yet. Expect the headliners to be revealed most likely on Friday (when tickets officially go on sale), or maybe tomorrow (pre sale tickets).

Lucky :p Would be awesome to go but it's too far away from here. I remember going to their "last ever" gig... :)

Saw Coheed/Thrice last night at the Academy, was **** tbh - missed most of Coheed, they played a really short set and I don't particularly like Thrice.

    Death Cab on 3rd March
Try to go see Prefuse 73 if it's anywhere near

Alls that's been planned so far
