    And for the love of god don't leave the PC on. I have my PC on 24/7 and once when (luckily it was a friend, not a potential girl) was over he suddenly asked if I were actually leaving the damn vacuum cleaner on for the night :D I'm so used to the noise, and actually get sleep better with the constant swoosh hiding random noises, it never even occurred to me people often shut their PCs off while sleeping.
