So I'm playing around with this little A1300 router I picked up as from the description I think it might be the ideal little device to setup what I have in mind. I'm spending more time at my other half's house and it would be nice if I had access to some of the dockers on my Unraid server remotely (namely Emby).

My plan is for the unraid server to present out a Wireguard VPN server then had the A1300 connected to her virgin media router via WAN port on the A1300, then use the A1300 to act as a Wireguard client so requests to my NAS from this Wi-Fi connection go back to my NAS. This would mean I can than get a FireTV Stick which will have Emby installed, connected to the A1300 Wi-Fi and I'll be able to connect my phone / laptop to A1300 Wi-Fi if I ever need to access any of the other VM's for admin such as game servers.

I've setup things on the unraid side, connected using Wireguard iPhone app and it works a treat but using same config on the A1300, it shows as its connecting to the NAS ok, I can see handshake time etc on the unraid side but when connected to the A1300 Wi-Fi from my iPhone, I can't hit any of my resources.

Anyone been playing with anything similar or have experience of this kind of setup.

from what i can tell you're trying to setup a reverse vpn to the unraid server using your glinet ? i have something similar running on pfsense and a gli300n for when i'm away from home although im still using openvpn xD slightly different since wireguard is more of a peer to peer , have you allowed 0.0.0.0/0 in your unraid config so that it allows all connections as a troubleshoot ? check your routes in unraid and check if you have one redirecting the a1300 sub network to your unraid one ..
with open vpn its easy since i can manually map the routes in the clients and defining different subnet allows me to access everything in the house network (even different vlans for iot /security/servers/media)
