Just when you thought that there'd been enough Power Supply reviews in the last few days... Fly takes a look at a unit from Globalwin, a rather bright one at that!

Check out what's good and what's not so good...

Lately quite a few feature-rich power supplies have hit the market, like the Antec NeoPower and OCZ Powerstream. As Fly said, sleeving is a simple addition that goes a long way, at least in my eyes.

I got the Globalwin SAF Sapphire PSU. I payed $180 wich is about 100 pounds. It came with ALL wires sleeved and its 520w. This is the best power supply i ever owned and i love it. I really love the chrome case with 3 blue windows. It helps iluminate the rest of my case with its 2 Blue LED fans. I dunno why this new Globalwin isnt as good as mine. Hopefully the next one will be able to top mine. :)

I've got the SAF 520 here, doesn't have sleeved cables, and it's got a very poor 12v line :(

I think mine was modded or somthing when i got it. It came with blue uv reactive sleeving and white heatshrink. Also the chrome case had so many fingerprints on it that the police would never figure out who's it was. :D My 12v rails are all stable. It sits at 12.030 volts. Some people in reviews complained that the cables are to long, but i think there perfert. it makes it easer to power the HDD's in my big and open case (Xaser 3 blue).

Just came across this PSU yesterday at Tiger Direct of all places. The looks are great and it's modular, but I know nothing of it's rail stability and peak power with load. Not a well known brand so it might not be that good at all. But sure it nice looking. Thay have a silver version too.
