    All well and good but I can hardly use it on my phone can I :(

    I want it become proper pop3 (ie hosted on the googles server as pop3).

    Some problems, nothing major tho. Its in Beta stage atm. So not open to all, invite only.

    One of my mates has had a gmail account for a while. I forward the link posted above to him. He mentioned he has some spare invites, so i have an account now too, woo! :rock:

    Will try this later for sure, i miss pop3.

    why the hell do you need a gig of space if you are downloading it to your outlook account??!! just go with one where you don't get targeted ads!

    I haven't noticed any problems at all.

    Now as to why pop3 would be good - for me - I really like the interface of Outlook - but I often travel and end up at Internet terminals and whatnot - that's why this makes so much sense for me.

    The ad's are hardly anything to complain about tbh, little bar to the right of the screen. OH NOES!

    I must agree, the ads are not bad at all.. The have the same appearance as the usual google ad-sense ads on the right of your search results..
