    Two words "front cut". Get a crashed car, with decent front end. Thats what we done, (used a 2wd primera, 2l turbo). cut the front off it (including all electronics), lock the steering up, and use it as the bak of your go-cart. And before you ask, we have no photos, we sold it, (me and dad were both scared of it, so we decided we would get something tamer).

    How did you fab the gearbox linkages? :rolleyes:

    A lot of people in this thread are thinking way over the top, here.

    You don't need a diff, for example.

    Easiest way to go about this would be to find an accident-damaged scooter or even better, an old carb-powered scooter, remove everything from the frame other than the engine and gearbox.

    weld the frame to a simple triangulated ladder chassis (1" box-section steel) and use the bike rear sprocket on a solid rear axle with mini front hubs and mini wheels.

    then it's simple to fab a front end.

    Here are some plans concerning various buggies and similar. Maybe you can get some information there :)

    I'm myself in the process of building a gokart/dragster thing, but it has been put on hold, until I can get ahold of a welder :dremel:
