Go4t's big box [updated 10/7/04]

well after being here for several months im finally starting a log. this is the 3rd case ive had my current computer in and i kinda gave up on modding the previous cases, hopefully that wont happen this time
i want to put a psone lcd behind the tinted plexi drivebays if i can afford it
the case is an old alden associates server case that a dual p2 came out of




it has this nice led panel that i will be turning into a load meter with Acrimonious' digimeter guide, hopefully it will be easy with all the leds already wired up



one of the nice things about this case is the filter that came behind the door


wont start much until tomorrow as it is getting pretty late here

I did a quick scetch of what i am going to do might be kinda hard to see.


Im sure that most people here know about the Heavy Metal case with the big high powered rc car built underneath. I used to drive/build rc cars alot so this seemed like a really cool idea to me.

 

holy ****, that thing is wide. chop it in half and make it a little shorter (lengthwise), because you have so much space! So much modding potential i see here.

 

Dont be redicurous! This thing MUST remain the beast that it is

wow now that is BIG, i'll be following this mod, I do hope it gets the multiple rad watercooling that its calling out for

 

You should insert two 120x120 fans in the front and bondo those grooves and maybe put two fans there:

i would like to do water cooling but i dont know if i could afford it, why multiple rads when one the size of 4 will fit

m'kay im not completely finished with the bondo but i am close





not sure if im going to do the mesh on the top and bondo it in or on the back

i didnt really explain the round things earlier, they are 3" in diameter and are going to be used as fan grills
