dude, that made me laugh so much... this is kinda like my nephew that wanted to play GTA: SA when he was 3. a big NO
Pfft, Viva Pinata... don't look at my XboxLive Gamercard, i don't own it... i got it for free, i swear
Viva piÑata? If this guy gets his hands on an xbox360 he'll be playing GTA4 in no time. Instead of investing on a new GC maybe he should get a wii, that's for boys and girls isn't it?
fixed. PM to OP: go back to colouring pencils, games like this are designed for adults who can operate teh equipment. draw me a hairy fire engine please.
hahaha, this kid is getting a right rollocking! sorry bout it 12modderZ, but you ain't gonna get anywhere trying to tell us that it's ok for someone under 15 to be playin a 15 rated game, especially not with all the buzz at the moment about age ratings and violence in games and the like.
It shouldn't matter about the buzz at the moment. Simple fact is that those ratings are there for a reason. Violent games to have an effect on children. I know a someone with 2 younger brothers who played Call of Duty 4 far too much, they are about 12 - 14. They got banned from playing recently because they were both acting pretty angry - copying phrases from in the game, getting into fights and generally being disagreeable. They have calmed down a fair bit since they were stopped from playing. My best guess is that the game simply got their adrenaline pumping and at that age they are less able to control themselves. They are perfectly normal kids and this isn't going to manifest itself in later life and result in one of them going nuts, going on a killing spree or anything. But the short term effect it has on them is noticeable.
Give me a break, when i was younger (i had older brothers) my parents never fussed about the age restrictions of a game. We understood it was a violent game, and we wanted it, so they would buy it for us. On the other hand, i blame the stores, about 90% of the time i go to purchase a game they don't ask my age, even though i know i am to young (17, first game i bought i was 13 or 14 and it was a violent fighting game) Also, the parents trust the child to know what is right and wrong, so they may be playing something inappropriate for their age, but they have been taught to never do what they have seen in video games. Just because i play grand theft auto doesn't mean i'm going to go steal cars, and blow stuff up... A lot of people don't pay attention to the age limits unless they have young children (10 and under). One last thing, if the parent purchases the game for the child and the child is under supervision while playing, what's the problem?
Holy hijacked thread batman. Give the kid a break, we were all 12 at one time.....except for Relix....and Joe, no one really knows his real age since he came from somewhere in Andromeda.
Supervision doesn't stop a childs mind from becoming corrupted. Parents need to learn how to say no. Regardless of the effect on kids, they still shouldn't play the games, they're far too violent and children shouldn't be exposed to that deliberately, they shouldn't have to deal with the "real world" until they're nearer to the end of their teens. It robs them of part of their childhood.
From his Blog : Seems that it is the ATI card after all. Well, no help for ya. Unfortunately You just aren't gonna get much more out of than low settings. Do a little work and make some cash, then try to updgrade again!
it would run like my grandmother... if this kid is really as impressionable as jack thompson would have us believe, we should probably give him a break, or he'll slaughter us all
