Hmm - more of us old crumblies than I thought. Maybe we need our own "Owld Gits" forum, where we can go on and on about the youth of today and their lack of morals
Just like the new smirnoff ice advert... "No i dont fancy your mate...... I fancy you AND you mate" ROFL
lol pong! the first game i played was probably operation wolf on the mastersystem with a lightgun! hehe that was a fun game
First game I remember playing was a pong clone on my mum and dads 'TV Sports Console'... It had two controllers, with dials for up and down! and you could change the speed of the ball - with a switch!! It had four inbuilt games, which in essence where the same, but with different numbers of bats. And all of this was in glorious Black'n'White-O-Vision(tm)!! This was cutting edge gaming technology back in the 70's - the PS2 / Gamecube of the age!
Bypassed the ZX81. My dad bought us the classiest home computer in the world. Oh, no, A Commodore 64 wasn't good enough for us, we had to have a: <drumroll> PLUS4!!! </drumroll> Same company, but quite possibly the saddest, most useless piece of electronics to ever had the name 'computer' attached to it. Utter, utter ****. Wow the silence from the 'wee bairns' is deafening, isn't it
plus4 PAH! u wanted an amiga 500,i had the 500+ dizzy, the adventures of a boiled egg adventuring strange lands, pure genius!
Hey, Kane - Thinking about, we got the plus4 the same year you where born!! (and I was 13/14 at the time) So back on topic - I'm feeling old!!!!!!
