    Hi!

I've got this Lian Li PC65USB wich is slightly modded.
Now i got some modding-kick again and want to mod it. No extreme modding, but some small modifications that make the overall looks better.

So, you got any ideas of what i can do?
I was inspired by this guy who made Orac3, so i have bought some of these prosject-boxes and i'm gonna make some small junction boxes. Maybe some shower-hoses too. (Hope it's not gonna be to rip-off). But i think chrome shower-hoses will be cool in that black case.

Anyway, you guys have some ideas of what i can do? Small og large ideas, it doesn't matter! :)

    Here are some pics:

Hope for some really good ideas now! :thumb:

Strip out the old IDE cables and resleave your power cables. Make it all UV and add UV fans and lights. Maybe make everything glow green UV and have blue cathode lights. That would look good  I also like having orange UV and yellow lights.

that wouldnt really be that smart considering paint inhibits the removal of heat from the heatsink

Anodizing would definately be better than paint, however it doesn't murder performance either, just hurts it a little. It's not something I'd do to a CPU heatsink... maybe ramsinks though.

I don't understand this. What do you mean?

Thanks for the ideas. Maybe i will use some of it. I'm looking for a clean case, not many different colors on the lights and so on. Maybe UV... i'll see. :)

    Got some more ideas?

I think he means the rounded cables' color.

uv markers are always cheap fun and simple, fallow the traces on your cards mobo, maybe spary the whole insdie with clear uv paint and add a 12" uv cathode

Maybe take everything out of your case and paint the interior. You should paint the interior like blue to match your rounded cables. Just a thought

    Thank you! :)
I've tought about doing something to the inside, or the "walls" in the case.
Maybe paint it, yes. Or maybe add some aluminium-plates (at least in the bottom) wich is polished, like a mirror. :) I can hide cables and stuff under it too.
    Like a false floor.

I don't want too much light in there. I want a clean and stylish case. :)
First of all i shall get rid of all the cables. And sleeve all the visible cables and put a silicone-tube on it.
Maybe some shower-hoses on the power cables to the HDD's and stuff. Maybe i'll find something else, but i like the shower-hoses.

I can't decide if i should have UV light. Then i'll go for the Lanparty mobo and paint the circuits on the PCI-cards.

Watercooling would be nice, but i don't think i will use that much money on it. But maybe if i can make the WC myself. Me and a friend shall try that now, so if that become a success maybe i will make one to my case. :)
