...To pick up my copy of Tiger, in the hopes that "free stuff" (tm) may be in the offing. Anybody else planning on taking a trip down to Le Magasin de Pomme?

Oh right, free stuff. I thought you were gonna buy it from central london cause you like being bent over a barrel in order to pay for it. :p Surely, no, it has to be cheaper elsewhere.

I was down tottenham court road weekend before last and they had nice stuff but you pay through the nose.

It is cheaper elsewhere - £89 from Apple's webstore or Amazon IIRC. But As I'm in London that day, I may as well go and get a copy in person.

And you never know - on big events such as this, Apple has given freebies away in the past. ;)

Our London office is just a stone's throw from the Apple store on Regents Street, I might just have to wangle a trip up there that day, just for laughs.

What sort of time will you be around there GOO?

Probabably about 5ish as I believe they won't be selling it until later on in the day due to the release times in the states.

I've got some business in the morning, and me and Mrs GOO will be hooking up with my mate later on that day to do some geeky stuff (Orcs Nest, Forbidden Planet, any and every Tech store we can find - the usual stuff). Then we'll mosey on down to Regent's Street.
