Busy playing ACII now,
obsessive about Forza 3, pity my X360 is bricked.
World of Goo

LoL
Mass effect 2
MW 2

 

I'll just keep saying "Mass Effect 2 isn't an RPG" in my corner over here.

 

That makes 2 of us... :/ And I consider myself a pcgamer... i'm ashamed...

I've played one of those games, MW2.... for 18 minutes, then uninstalled it.

Kinda surprised they only count "new" new games in this section then.
Considering that it usually takes a while for those sort of online games to get known, get a following, get the bugs sorted out and especially since most receive big updates that often change the game in a big way, like the upcoming one for WoW cataclysm or the many ones for EvE.

Oh well never mind at least they got Plants V Zombies right : )

 

As I understand it, SC2 will be in next years batch of games as it wasn't released before the deadline for this years batch...

 

what a terrible, terrible, terrible list. I think i have an active dislike for almost all of them.

 

AC2 is pretty decent, and I need to get on and buy Mass Effect 2. Otherwise, meh.

 

Haven't touched single one of those games.

Sad list is sad.

 

loved Mass Effect 2 .. glad it did so well... Also quite liked SF IV ...and World of Goo was ..interesting at least

Number I might play = 2 (P v Z and World of Goo)

Sorry but that list looks like a countdown of the largest advertising budgets and hype drivers rather than the best games.

 

Democracy has succeeded if consoles (you know, the platform that outsells PC games by rediculous amounts) are represented far more than PC exclusives. If a PC game sold 1/6th of the amount that a console game did, i wouldnt expect it to be voted more than the console game.

 

Not a complete disaster in terms of taste, but pretty predictable.

Modern Warfare 2 - guess it got in due to the single player campaign, which i gather was ok, not the complete mess that was the multiplayer. Oh well, skipped that one but i have pre-purchased Black Ops, purely because it has dedicated servers (albeit in a limited fashion). The leaked video clips i've seen of the multiplayer game modes look promising, with decent sized maps.

Hopefully sales of Black Ops on the PC will be double those of IW's abomination.

 

i LOL'd at that, says a lot about the state of FPS games if this trash got the best shooter award. ok maybe i was too harsh with that comment, but i feel its getting worse with each year...

Best shooter should've been awarded to Singularity.
