    Hi

I'm with Zen at the moment, been with them for ages and they have been 100% reliable, but their 25gb (Seems to get lower all the time!) cap means that at times we're having to watch Steam & iPlayer usage which is a bit crazy in the 21st century. They used to be unlimted and were the only one that meant it!

    So my requirements are:

    - Unlimited
    - Reliable
    - Hassle free

We moved a lot of our work accounts over to BE unlimited, but I've stuck with Zen as I couldn't be ar$ed re-configuring my router to router VPN, but the cap is too low now.

Anyone else happy with BE for the sort of activitites bit-tech readers get up to?

Any alternatives? No cable out here in the sticks, but I get good ADSL/2 speeds (6meg / 18meg)

I think I speak for a number of Bit-tech'ers when I say that BE is brilliant; personally I've had no problems with them and the speed has always been good and consistent.

    So yea, BE is great.

    +1

2years and running of good level of service on a reliable uncapped line.
Ticks all my boxes, alternatively you may also like to check out O2 whom provide a very similar service to BE but with some extras such as provided e-mail, web hosting space, and if you happen to have an O2 mobile phone contract, then you get a deal for discount on them both saving you some cash.

Used to be on BEThere and they were fantastic.

Usage changed and we get sky for cheap these days (that are also a good ISP when used via LLU imo).

    Wouldn't hesitate to recommend BEThere.

Yup. I was with be and they are by far the best ISP i ever had.

O2 bought them out i beleive so O2 are on all the same equipment and I think you can get some decent deals in with ur contract phone.. but if its pure broadband ur after. BE all the way :)

Personally id recomend an after market router. The standard one is a thompson router remaniscent of the early bt home hubs. and BE are happy with you using 3rd party ones. they even recomend a few.
