Hello All Quick Question. I'm looking to do a new build/mod and was wondering if anyone new of a good (somewhat inexpensive) case made completely of either steel or aluminum. Most are metal except for the front panel which is usually plastic. I would prefer an all metal case because plastic is harder to work with, and tends to limit modding to just painting. (at least in my case, more experienced modders probably don't have these issues.)
Pretty much any Lian-Li case would work, but they're not too cheap. Mid-tower Li-Lis start at $86 on Newegg, but they're pretty much a blank canvas for modding.. Extremely solid construction and quality materials.
I did that but it looked like some of the cases under aluminum only still had plastic bezels. I guess ive never really ordered an expensive case from newegg usign that search feature so i wanted to make sure that when i selected aluminum only i would actually get a FULLY aluminum case. Docodine: Thanks for the suggestion I will look into the lian-li cases. Anyone else know of any other cases?
Lian li and silverstone cases are pretty much all aluminium, but if this is your first case mod grab a cheap case to pratice on, or i will cry if i hear that a lian has been wreaked!
