Hey everyone! If you consider this post spam, feel free to delete it and my apologies ahead of time. My friend's site is pretty new, about a year old and he just put up a new article on a sweet dual panel lcd. (two 15" lcds together as one, not two seperate... very sweet)

    hi and welcome to bit!

that looks pretty cool, altho im not sure about the stripe down the middle, but then i guess its better than the few inches if you just use 2 TFTs!

The stripe down the middle ruins it for me, would have been a great screen but for that :(

yea the stripe kinda stinks, but if you think about it, putting two 15" panels together you'd have the casing in the way...BUT...maybe taking them out of the casing and gettin your mod on?... :D Sounds like it could be a sweet mod to do.

Nice idea. The only thing I'd say though for having 2xTFTs than a double like that is that I'd rather they were stood in a slight V arrangement facing inwards, towards my face, if you get me, rather than being flat, straight on.

I think being straight all the way across, you could perhaps get some viewing angle issues, although not apparent on that example.

Looks ok, not great though - as Hwu said, it might be annoying with two large flat-panel monitors facing you like that, i'd like it facing in a couple of different angles if that was me...
