Im sure this is straightforward but can someone point me in the direction of a (free!) program that'll rip cd's to mp3 and maybe convert .wma to mp3? Ive just realised most of my music is .wma which wasnt a problem until i bought an mp3 player for the car, doh!!!
To convert .wma to .mp3 I use dBpowerAMP Music Converter, it can also rip CDs as well (although it's quite slow at ripping in the unregistered version)
Quality should be better starting from scratch, see CDex and Exact Audio Copy, links in the sticky, both free.
