hello everyone i just dig up my old P2 at 400mhz which has a locked multiplier (x4) but the bus speed is ajustable. I want to overclock the sucker a bit more in order to have smoother divx playback (although there are no problems). I tried to overclock it by changing the bus speed and I got from 400mhz to 460mhz but after reseting a coupla times the CPU clock no matter how many times i tried to change the bus speed again, was stuck in 400mhz. I was thinking there's propably some other locking feature Do you know where can i get some articles on how to overclock old processors like that one ? Cheers
