    Hello,

I'm looking to share some data with a friend of mine and am looking for a safe, online storage i can share with him.
Filesize at least 100mb (as I don't want to upload every file by itself)

    Any suggestions?

Deffo Dropbox. You get 2Gb free, and an automatic upload of everything you put in the dropbox folder.

    DROPBOX

    Dropbox.

I also run Windows Live Mesh which will soon become Live Sync and is better for syncing my own devices, but Dropbox is fantastic for sharing and has apps for quite a few smartphones as well.

They both require me to install stuff on my computer. (the drop/live folder).
Web-based live mesh only allows 50mb files at a time :grr:

Ubuntu One - normally used as a built-in dropbox-sort-of-thing in Ubuntu, but it has a Web interface.
Unsure of Maximum filesize, but you get 2Gb free to play with, and I'm sure you can "Publish" files so that they are accessible with a URL, instead of giving the recipient your login details.

I'll try ubuntu and/or Filefront when at home
(as at least the webfront from ubuntu doesn't work with IE6 I'm using at work)

    Thanks!

divShare and ADrive (2GB file size limit, up to 50GB total) are both decent enough

Uploading to Ubunto via the web interface now...doesn't show a progress bar.
    Just the rotating firefox thingy.
Maybe it was a bit ambitious to start with 250mb :D
